So many issues can easily be rectified by ensuring that data syncs are occurring regularly without errors. Data syncs affect everything from class lists, new user creation, timetables, attendance data, achievement and behaviour points and so on. So it is very important to monitor and report data sync issues when they become apparent.
There is an alert displayed in the Milk portal (homepage header, and on the Settings page) if no data is received.
1. Drag the cursor onto the arrow next to your name and click to reveal drop down menu.
2. Click on 'Settings'
3. Look under 'School sync status' to see if there is an error message.
Although the above screenshot is an extreme example of data sync failure, it illustrates what you need to look for when investigating data anomalies. If there is no data sync warning message and yet data in your MIS is failing to be correctly shown in Milk, please notify Milk Support Team.
